HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS (Part I: Underwear)

Analyse yourself, how many times have you put on a bra that hurts you, has a bigger cup or leaves a mark on your back? Or do you sacrifice comfort for tight, "cheeky" panties?

Statistics say that 8 out of 10 women wear the wrong bra size and something similar happens with tantrums, thongs, panties, etc. We can confirm that this problem is one of the main problems that we all suffer when buying any item of clothing online. This is mainly due to the fact that the sizes are not unified. We can find differences by country, by manufacturer...

To avoid these problems, most manufacturers have chosen not to rely on the usual references (S, M, L, XL...) but also to provide their customers with the metric equivalence of these references. For this you have to know what and how to take the exact measurements.

We are giving tricks to simplify this task so that you can buy your clothes without worrying about the size.

 Body Measures

BRA, CORSET AND BODY

To know your size it is essential that you measure yourself with a tape measure, just below the bust. If the number of your measurement is odd, adapt it to the next pair to obtain the size of the band of your bra. For example, if the result is 29, your number will be 30.

You have to be very careful when identifying which cup suits you. In general, small bands have small cups. In other words, a D cup is smaller in a 30 band than in a 34, even though we think it's the same.

The trick is that if you reduce your back measurement, you have to go up a letter to your cup. If you were previously a 34 C, you will need to change to a 32 D.

How to measure?

  • Measure the contour of your chest at the height of the nipples (Chest).
  • Measure the contour of your body just below the chest (Underbust)
  • Take the measurements without clothes and when you are not in your menstruation cycle because during those days the volume of the breast and belly increases
  • If you want to buy a bra accessory, please refer to your bra size.

PANTIES, THONGS

To take your perfect panty measurements, you just need to take note of the width of your hips. How? Wear the most suitable panty size for you, taking the measurements as follows:

  • Measure the contour of your waist.
  • Measure around your hips 8 Inch down from your natural waistline.
  • Take the measurements without clothes and when you are not in your menstruation cycle (during those days the volume of the breast and belly increase)

If you find yourself right at the limit of two options, we suggest you choose the larger size so that you feel more comfortable and don't get any surprises! (Remember that it can shrink when washed).

If you don't have a measuring tape, measure the panties over the clothes, just make sure that the difference is not more than 2 Inch.

Dressing Grown

To choose the most suitable size for you, take your measurements as follows:

  • Measure the contour of your chest at the height of the nipples.
  • Measure the contour of your waist.
  • Measure around your hips 8 Inch down from your natural waistline.
  • Measure the leg from the crotch to the ankle bone.
  • Take the measurements without clothes and when you are not in your menstruation cycle, during those days the volume of chest and belly increases.

As you can see, I have not put any size chart. I have done it on purpose, as I have mentioned before, each manufacturer has its own measurements. The idea of this article is to learn how to take your measurements and then adapt to each size chart.
